# Providing Liquidity

### Overview

By providing liquidity to USX trading pairs, you can earn passive income through trading fees.

### USDC-USX Liquidity Pool

The primary liquidity pool for USX is the [**USDC-USX pair**](https://honeypop.app/add/0x06eFdBFf2a14a7c8E15944D1F4A48F9F95F663A4/0x3b005fefC63Ca7c8d25eE21FbA3787229ba4CF03/500?minPrice=0.999597\&maxPrice=1.000648) available on [Honeypop](https://honeypop.app/explore/pools). When you LP on the USDC-USX pool, you can earn trading fees generated by users using the pool.

**LP also has a 5x points multiplier which you can find it in** [Points Program](/guides/points-program.md).

### How to Provide Liquidity

1. Visit [Honeypop Pools](https://honeypop.app/explore/pools)
2. Connect your wallet.
3. Select the USDC-USX pool: <https://honeypop.app/add/0x06eFdBFf2a14a7c8E15944D1F4A48F9F95F663A4/0x3b005fefC63Ca7c8d25eE21FbA3787229ba4CF03/500?minPrice=0.999597&maxPrice=1.000648>
4. Enter the amount you want to provide in either token. Honeypop will automatically calculate the balanced amount of the other token needed based on the current pool ratio
5. Approve the tokens and confirm the transaction
6. Receive LP tokens representing your share of the pool

*While liquidity provision can earn you trading fees, it's important to understand **impermanent loss**. Though minimal in stablecoin pairs, price fluctuations between USDC and USX can still impact returns.*

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.usx.capital/guides/external-integrations/providing-liquidity.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
